I love Fall and the change of color in the trees and bushes. I have a bush in my backyard that is an unassuming bush for 3/4 of the year, but in the Fall it becomes a STAR! Last Saturday it was pretty nondescript and then we had a couple of cold nights and this is what it looks like now--Gorgeous, gorgeous, ORANGE!
Here's to the color ORANGE,
Lynda
(FYI-First pic, orange and blue, GO BRONCOS!)

I'd be interested in knowing what kind of bush that is since I'm only about 60 miles north of Denver. Broncos have a bye week.
I think it is a Yellow Barberry. We have them here in Missouri. The branches look like that and they have berries that are red right now. I have a couple in my yard. Are the leaves a yellow green before they turn?
Hi Paula and Cheryl, I think you are right Cheryl--it is some sort of Barberry Bush. The leaves are more of a dark green than a yellow green. I googled Barberry Bush and got lots of pictures. I may be planting another one. Thanks for the info Cheryl.
